Must Haves For Spring Break
1. Black Bikini
If there’s one thing I know for sure, every girl needs a simple black bikini in her closet to take to the beach. Black is so flattering on every skin tone and is guaranteed to make you feel your best while you chill on the beach and sip a pina colada. I also love a good high-waisted bikini because it really does bring in your waist for the most flattering shape and the high leg bottoms make your legs look a mile long!
2. Casual Crop And Mom Shorts
Let’s do brunch! A pair of your favorite mom shorts and a lightweight crop is perfect to throw on for a brunch date by the beach or to wear shopping when you’ve had enough sun. I think you can never go wrong with simple outfits like this because they are so versatile and they will be in your closet for years to come.
3. Swimsuit Cover Up
We all need a cute swimsuit coverup and this one is just the one for you! Throw this on to walk down to the beach, take pics, grab a drink, or go on the beach at night. I love the loose-knit look of this sweater because it’s lightweight and you still get to show off your super cute bikini underneath. Pair with your fave denim shorts (or none at all) and rock your fav bikini underneath!
4. Loving Tan
Let’s be honest, we all wanna look golden and bronzed before we even step out onto the beach. Prepare before your trip by applying your favorite self tanner! I love Loving Tan because I feel like it gives me that freshly sunkissed look that I love! The Ultra Dark is my go-to most often but if I’m just looking for a bit of a healthy glow I apply the medium. Use your fav SPF over the top before you go out in the sun and prepare to turn heads.
As soon as the temperature gets above 75 degrees, I’m ready to break out my sandals! I love a good strappy sandal because I wear them with everything from a summer dress, to shorts and a graphic tee or crop top. These sandals really make a statement and wherever you travel for spring break you’ll be glad you brought your favorite sandals.
Nothing says “I’m going to the beach” like an adorable straw hat. A hat is perfect for keeping the sun off of your face, as well as, making a fashion statement. Wear a hat with your favorite swimsuit on the beach, to brunch with your best friends, or to take pics for Instagram at sunset. I love a good straw hat because I think they look so beachy. Rock some bubble braids or a messy low bun with your hat and you’re good to go!
7. Dressy Outfit
Arguably, one of the best things about going to the beach is getting dressed in your favorite outfit for a night out with your friends or your special someone. A romper is my go-to for a cute summer look that’s more dressy than denim shorts and to me, a romper always makes someone look put together and stylish. Rompers are one of my favorite things to take on a trip for a night out because it says “I know how to have fun while looking super cute”. A 100% must-have!
